HOW DOES EATertainment™ WORK?
| • |
“EATertainment” ™ by
Imagineer works with the facility Lifestyle/Activity
Director, Activity Committee, and/or culinary and
nutrition groups to set up a schedule of various
food/beverage events |
| • |
Each program consists
of an interactive demonstration, a talk about product
particulars, and then centers around tastings of
the products/dishes being showcased |
| • |
If the program includes
a beverage tasting, the guest will be offered tasting
portions of all the items being featured |
| • |
Usually during beverage
tastings, up to 5 particular items will be tasted
along with water and crackers to cleanse the palette
between products |
| • |
Since the program
is educational in nature, residents will be taught
the proper way to sample the items to insure that
they “taste” the product nuances vs. “gulp” down
the item |

BACKGROUNDS
Chef Bob Hiller, a 1992 graduate of The Culinary
Institute of America, is a business and entertainment chef
who has honed his skills for the past 11 years as founding
partner of The Imagineer Group and The Restaurant Growth
Group in Basking Ridge, NJ. IG and RGG are both US foodservice
and hospitality industry strategic marketing agencies designed
to grow restaurant and food manufacturer businesses based
upon guest wants and needs.

After
a successful stint as a chef at various metropolitan area
dining establishments, and being a corporate and social caterer,
Bob returned to the foodservice marketing world and helped
change the landscape at Nabisco, Sara Lee, and Sugar Foods.
Bob then opened The Imagineer Group /The Restaurant Growth
Group. Some of Bob’s clients include: The New York State
Restaurant Association, The Rutgers Food Innovation Center,
Nestle USA and Water, Menu Magic, Coldwater Seafood, The
Turkey Store, Fresh Express, Golden Corral, Subway, Burger
King, Ryan’s Steakhouse and Knott’s Berry Farm. Bob’s
success lies in the fact that he designs exciting guest entertainment
and marketing programs that are intended to get more guests
through the door, increase check averages, increase ROI and
bottom line revenues. Bob is an out-of-the-box hospitality
industry thinker. He believes in relationships, not just
in-and-out one-time jobs. Bob's expert communication and
speaking skills have earned him a place on various organizations’ programs
at events where he motivationally educates and entertains
on business building techniques and trend analysis. Bob is
an expert on eating trends in America and uses his “foodservice
crystal ball” to
help predict what Americans will be eating in the future. Bob also prides himself
on being a teacher, motivator and supporter.
“EATertainment™” by Imagineer was the next step in Bob’s quest to provide culinary education & entertainment. “Be it for sustenance or as a place to gather, dining is a daily part of our lives. We eat to live and live to eat. Why not be more informed in a fun way by being able to appreciate the bounties that the earth has provided us? Enjoy what you’re eating….
make
the most out of life!”
Mary
Ann Hiller began
her career in hospitality when she decided that when she married Bob, she was
going to do the catering and party planning for 300 guests at her own wedding.
She was the operations director at Concepts For Cuisine, Inc. where she and Bob
did catering and event planning for over 10 years. She took this on after a successful
career in medical management with The IVF Program at New York Hospital, Weill
Medical Center, and HealthSouth.
In addition to being the Imagineer Marketing special event planner for the foodservices
division of Nestle USA, Mary Ann has planned special events and social activities
for Nabisco, Hewlett-Packard, Surebeam and Sara Lee Bakery amongst others. As
a matter of fact, she has hosted many food and wine pairing dinners for her corporate
clients including setting up the first Dessert Food & Wine Pairing at The Culinary Institute of America for Sara Lee Bakery, thereby showing their salesforce new and unique avenues to sell simple desserts. EATertainment™ by Imagineer combines the things that Mary Ann does best –
senior
care with hospitality.
Mary Ann is the mother of 4 children, and is founder of and partner at
Errands
and Care Senior Services located in Somerset County NJ.
